Software Automation Engineer

Job Description

• Responsible for design & development of machine automation and vision systems
• Responsibility in automated process & inspection equipment build
• Provide solution to Finisar Ipoh transceiver manufacturing process needs
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
• Derive Continual Improvement.
• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering – Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
2. Relevant working experience in networking, test process or product transfer.
3. Familiar with product development process & proven success of releasing products to production.
4. Understand basic test methodologies and able to interpret/read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
5. Experience working with fiber-optic/laser products
