Job Description
Responsibilities
Manage material purchases based on demand to prevent shortages or overstock.
Follow up on Purchase Order acknowledgments and delivery confirmations from suppliers.
Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Expedite materials to meet production requirements.
Regularly update the production planner on material status.
Ensure inbound shipments are cost-effective and align with company cost-saving policies.
Optimize inventory orders through effective solutions.
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth material delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned by superiors or management.
Job requirements
Must possess at least a Diploma in any field.
At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Excel and overall proficiency with data computation.
Self-motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure with tight timelines, prioritizing tasks effectively.
Good knowledge of inventory control
