Production Supervisor

Job Description

Production Management

-Directly supervise daily production operations and a team of operators to meet production plans, output targets, and KPIs.

-Monitor and control production processes to maintain high productivity and minimize downtime.

-Ensure production schedules are communicated and executed effectively.

Quality Assurance

-Implement and enforce quality control standards on the shop floor.

-Investigate and report quality issues; drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

-Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) team for internal audits, first articles, and lot inspections.

Team Leadership & People Development

-Lead a team of approx. 25–35 operators per supervisor (total ~120 across 4 supervisors).

-Coach, develop, and motivate production staff to meet performance and attendance expectations.

-Conduct daily/weekly toolbox talks, escalate issues, and foster continuous improvement mindset.

Process & Efficiency

-Monitor key production metrics (cycle time, throughput, yield, OEE).

-Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

-Implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, SMED).

Safety & Compliance

-Promote and enforce workplace safety (PPE, hazard identification, incident reporting).

-Ensure compliance with EMS industry standards (ESD control, IPC, ISO).

Coordination & Reporting

-Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, QA, and Warehouse teams.

-Prepare production reports and escalate issues to management.

-Support manpower planning and shift scheduling.
