Job Description:
This position is responsible for implementing new processes, improving existing processes and providing technical support to insure safe and efficient manufacture of PCB assemblies. Leading the technical aspects of projects, ensuring that everything from the initial design to the final implementation is carried out flawlessly.
Job Summary:
· Detailed knowledge of hardware and software related to product development.
· Proficient in manufacturing processes incorporating lean principles.
· Must be able to read prints and be familiar with assembly techniques using THT, SMT, and mixed technology.
· Must have a working knowledge in electronic components and PCB’s.
· Experience in dealing with a variety of technical and non-technical functional groups.
· Provide labor quotes/estimates.
· Knowledge of PCB insertion equipment, wave soldering and PCB cleaning equipment.
· Knowledge of SMT production equipment.
· Strong mathematical skills.
· Excellent verbal, written communication skills, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Experience with root cause problem solving and knowledge of systemic process analysis and action implementation.
· Must be able to evaluate equipment considered for purchase.
· Must be able to weigh the company’s need for performance against its cost limitations.
· Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, yield, and quality.
· Ability to understand and apply a variety of customer requirements to ensure compliance.
· Experience with root cause problem solving and knowledge of systemic process analysis and action implementation.

Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering or previous experience as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer
· At least 7-10 years of experience in process engineering
· Familiarity with electronic testing, TQM, SPC, JIT, Kanban and ISO a plus
· Knowledge of Aegis also a plus
