Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BQ), cost estimation and tender submission.
• Take-off measurement from drawings (architectural, structural, M&E).
• Update and maintain material price list, subcontractor rates, and quotations.
• Prepare draft progress claims to consultants/clients and verify subcontractor claims.
• Assist in preparing Variation Orders (VO) with proper measurement, cost impact and documentation.
• Support in contract administration under PAM 2018 / JKR conditions, including documentation, notices, and correspondence.
• Attend site meetings, conduct site measurements, and verify completed works.
• Work closely with project teams on budget control and cost monitoring.
• Prepare and update cost comparison, cost report, and cashflow planning.
• Ensure accuracy and organisation of all QS-related documents.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years experience in construction/ID preferred.
• Able to read technical drawings and perform measurement.
• Good computer skills (Excel, AutoCAD, Costing software).
• Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
